Together with parent company Samator Group, PT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk (the “Company”) highly upholds the three pillars of Sustainability in building the company and culture. Our products and services are critical and or essential for the expansion and development of a wide range of sectors, spanning from Healthcare, Infastructure, Energy, Consumer Good and many more. Subsequently, in realizing the Triple Bottom Line Value Creation, the Company formulates its business strategy by considering sustainable CSR development in its business practices and by continuously prioritizing the balance of economic, environmental and human aspects in the business that are supported by a solid occupational health and safety management system.

Compliance with Regulations and Best Practice Standards

In line with Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Company and Government Regulation No. 47 of 2012 concerning Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Company, AGI consistently continues to implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program as a form of the Company’s commitment to participate in sustainable economic development in order to improve the quality of life and environment that is beneficial, not only for the Company, but also for local community and public at large.

In the environmental aspect, AGI is committed to create an environmentally friendly production process through the fulfillment of all licenses required by local authorities, including the UKL-UPL (Environmental Management Efforts and Environmental Monitoring Efforts) for the Company’s plants. In addition, some plant locations have been ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified. Questions and complaints regarding the Company’s environmental management are monitored and managed by the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Unit. Environmentally Friendly Air Separation Process

In its operational process, the raw materials used by the Company to produce industrial gas products are mostly from air that is naturally available. The air is absorbed and separated based on the melting point of each type of gas using air separation technology. Therefore, our production process does not have a negative impact on the environment. Likewise, for the utilization and management of water, the water we use in the production process is continuously recycled to control water consumption. Moreover, in its management, fishes are reared in the waterways, which can be harvested as the fishes grow. 

We also implement the green factory concept in factories and plants with extensive land. Those lands are planted with various vegetation to provide shade and beauty. These initiatives are part of the Company’s operational activities therefore do not require specific cost allocations for its implementation.

EcoVadis Rating

Since 2017, the Company has annually participated in EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings as well as intelligence and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains. The rating system in EcoVadis not only measures a Company’s ability to implement sustainability principles in the aspects of environmental, human resources, ethics and procurement fields, but also provides measurable ways for the company to improve its performance on the scorecard provided. The Company targets to increase its EcoVadis score every year.
